Welcome Call
A teacher will be reaching out to invite you to a Welcome Call within five days of your enrollment. These meetings are required for the Learning Coach and Student. Welcome calls are great opportunities to ask questions, get to know our school and staff, and share more information about yourself. Please make sure to work with the teacher when they reach out to find a time/day that works for everyone. These meetings will take place either in Zoom or over the phone.

Setting Up a Learning Space
To help your student establish good learning habits, it is best to have a dedicated workspace. They should have a good desk or table to sit at with a comfortable chair. The room in which they work should be free from loud noise, the television, or other distractions.

Daily Schedules
While there is flexibility when the lessons can be completed throughout the week, daily routines and goal setting are important to help students stay on task. Take a look at the daily tasks for students and Learning Coaches linked below. Students should expect to work about 5-6 hours each school day to complete 28 lessons weekly.
Most classes will have a lesson assigned each day, similar to being a classroom each day for core subjects. Lessons for electives may only be a couple times a week.
